Cristo Rey Charleston Feasibility Study Transitions into Launch Phase

The Cristo Rey Network Board of Directors has officially approved the Feasibility Study for Cristo Rey Charleston High School, allowing the project to advance into its Launch phase ahead of the school’s planned 2026 opening as the Network’s 42nd campus. Backed by more than $8 million in philanthropic commitments, strong community support, and confirmed Corporate Work Study job placements, the founding board is now recruiting its leadership team and preparing a state-of-the-art campus. Over the next 18 months, the team will work closely with the Cristo Rey national office to meet key milestones ensuring academic excellence, program viability, and long-term sustainability. Leaders expressed deep gratitude for the volunteers, partners, and donors who helped bring the vision for Cristo Rey Charleston closer to reality.
