
Sarah C. Gallagher, M.Ed., MBA named Chief Academic Officer

The Cristo Rey Network has appointed Sarah C. Gallagher, M.Ed., MBA, as its new Chief Academic Officer, bringing over 15 years of proven leadership in Catholic and public education. In her role, Gallagher will lead the Network’s academic vision across 41 schools serving 12,600 students nationwide, overseeing curriculum development, instructional improvement, professional learning, and data-driven student growth. Formerly CEO and Chief Academic Officer of Lighthouse Academies, she achieved exceptional academic results, including graduation rates above 93% and national recognition for excellence in high-poverty communities. A dedicated advocate for educational equity, Gallagher expressed her commitment to ensuring all Cristo Rey students reach their full potential. She holds advanced degrees from the University of Notre Dame, the University of Michigan, and Providence College, reflecting both academic excellence and mission-driven leadership.
