Cristo Rey Network Elects New Board Chair and Appoints Five New Members

The Cristo Rey Network has announced the election of Dan McCallin as its new Board Chair, effective July 1, 2025. A longtime supporter of the Cristo Rey mission, McCallin brings extensive leadership experience from his tenure as President & CEO of Timberline Advisors and service on multiple Cristo Rey school boards across the country. Joining him are five newly elected board members—Dr. Kavita Bhavan, Dave Fitzgerald, Christine Freeman Popolo, Colin Scully, and Siobhan Taylor—whose diverse expertise in healthcare, education, business, and community leadership will further strengthen the Network’s national mission. President and CEO Kelby Woodard praised their collective commitment to advancing educational opportunity and workforce development for students nationwide. The Network also recognized the dedicated service of outgoing Board Chair Jane E. Genster and long-serving members Camille Naughton and Leo Sheridan for their lasting contributions to Cristo Rey’s 30-year legacy of transformative education.
